This is the section that you can most benefit on by knowing how to take multiple choice tests. Multiple Choice Tests are almost always designed the same way especially on Standardized tests like the ACT or SAT. Of the four choices given, TWO are what are called distracters. These two answers are related to the question at hand but are often not even close to the answer. Then the other two answers are almost always very similar to each other, one being the correct answer and the other being an answer that is just barely off. In English the most common incorrect answers are going to be the difference of capital letters, missing commas, and words that are pronounced the same but have different meanings (It's almost always Capital, Capitol is only referring to the Capitol building or a legislative building). In Math the answer that is barely off is almost always the result of an doing a formula just barely wrong or switching a positive and negative. When doing your Math work make sure that you double check positives and negatives ESPECIALLY dividing by negatives.
Make sure to pay attention to how questions are worded as you go! This is the biggest slip up in the English section is trying to go to fast and not seeing the NOT or LEAST LIKELY in a question. Make sure you pay attention to the question so that you answer it correctly
