MATH

On the math section there really isn't much that can be done last minute other than reviewing standard formulas that you will likely need to know.

FORMULAS:


(x + a)(x + b) = x^2 + (b + a)x + ab    ~“FOIL”~


Mid-point of the segment AB:

(  x1 + x2 )  ,  (y1 +y2)
   2                       2
(These are points on a Coordinate Plane)

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

30-60-90 Triangles
Hypotenuse = 2 times the Short Side
Long Side = 1/2 of the Short side times the square root of 3
Short side = 1/2 of the Hypotenuse

Soh - Cah - Toa

Sine is Opposite/Hypotenuse

Cosine is Adjacent/Hypotenuse

Tangent is Opposite/Adjacent


I know this is really basic stuff that you probably remember but it will be stuff that you will need to remember! Better to have to remember it now then on test day!

ADVICE: IT IS USUALLY ONE OF THE TWO ANSWERS THAT ARE REALLY SIMILAR.
